Courtney Turich: Well, we are thrilled to have you and everyone. Eva just has this contagious. She really does have contagious energy. so am excited to hear about your journey, Eva.
So before we jump into some of those big questions, just start by telling us a little bit more about yourself. Okay.
Eva's Journey to Embracing Feminine Energy
Eva Simone: Yes. I was given a beautiful gift when I was a kid. A gift to really tap into people and really reach them at their core and kind of zap them to bring them out of whatever they're, going through so that they can get to that next level.
And I enjoy it. I love bringing this energy up and whoa, I come through with the power. You sure do girl. And I love it. I come through with the power and want to thank my friend because this may be my only chance to give it. So I'm here to give it. So what happened with me? I was afraid to show that power.
I was afraid to really come out because it's a lot of times and sometimes it can make you go, Whoa, who's this person? And then I said, you know what? The world needs this. We need, especially women, to wake up to this power, this feminine intelligence, this juiciness that we all have. And girl, I'm here to give it.
Courtney Turich:
And boy, do you give it to Eva. So tell us, where are you from? Where do you live? Like, a little bit more about that side of your life.
Eva Simone: Sure. I was from a very small town in South Carolina. And I want to shout out to that small town because If I didn't come from there, I wouldn't have all of this experience to have all of this excitement in life.
Because I came from there, everything is so beautiful. Everything is so exciting. And when I get into the company of people who can really understand that, life becomes like this beautiful bowl of deliciousness. And let me tell you, I'm eating it up. I'm taking it, I'm giving it back, and that's exciting to me.
Currently, I live in North Carolina, and North Carolina is so green. North Carolina greenness and my sunshine. It's a boom
Courtney Turich: chicka boom moment. Let me tell you a boom chicka boom moment. Oh my gosh, Eva, you're bringing it all out. Boom chicka boom juicy. I'm all for it. I'm all for it.
Eva Simone: So I know that your podcast is about bold moves. Let me tell you, I am into the bold movement in any and everything I do, whether I'm giving you a big hug or Telling you about how life is so beautiful for you and just showing up. But, and, it hasn't always been that way for me.
Even whenever I had this special gift that I got when I was a kid, I was afraid to really be myself. And when you're afraid to be yourself, the world kind of shows you and tells you who to be. And when that happened, for me, it was a lie. It was a lie. It had me in such strong masculine energy but wounded masculine energy.
You know, Courtney, I thought I could do everything. I can cook the food. I can breastfeed the kid. I can drive the car. I can put something on my, hip. I can put something on my ankle. I can do all the things and am still afraid to say, I'm tired. I don't know how to do all this by myself.
But I was afraid to say that I was tired. I was afraid of that vulnerable side. Would be my downfall would be that, Oh, Eva's not as strong as she thinks she is. And one day, this was a bold move for me.
Courtney Turich: Okay, so Eva, hold on, I'm going to just step in. Is this your big bold moment in life? This is one of them.
I've had many. Okay, so I'm going to let, I'm so sorry to interrupt. You just keep going and then we'll go to the next one. But I just want to make sure everybody knows, is this the main bold move? Or it's just one of the many bold moves.
Eva Simone: Oh, there are so many moves. There are so many bold moves. There are many ones, micro mini, but the macro.
Yeah. Yes. One day I was walking in New York City. And this lady is walking through the crowd, and I love to tell this story because it's so juicy. It just woke me up in such a beautiful way, my friend! I'm walking through the crowd, and, you know, I'm tired, and I'm frustrated, and I don't feel good, my body doesn't feel good, and I'm just exhausted.
But I'm still holding on, like, I can do this! And this lady's walking through the crowd, and it was like the crowd opened for her. She had this energy of lightness, of elegance, of juiciness, of femininity, of just this feeling of just, Ooh, I'm sensual and alive and my sexuality is just pouring out of me, impulsing, and I was like, What the heck?
I was like, I could feel my heart going towards her. Wow. Towards her. But it wasn't in a way that I was jealous or any of that. I was like, Oh, I have that. I'm tired. I'm frustrated. I'm sure the energy around me is just exhausting. I feel like I'm drying up. I feel like I'm falling apart. I don't have that.
So I watched her. I just watched her walk by. Her hands were pretty. Her arms. her handbags. She just looked really beautiful and she was just luxurious in all of its form. And I was like, whoa, who is this person? So I just watched her, and I watched her walk by. And then the next day, I'm sitting alone, and I'm thinking, and days go by, and weeks go by, however long the, the time went, and I was like, Oh!
Oh! before I had that moment where life changed for me as a little girl, I was this woman. I was light and airy and fun and playful and all of those things. I was a girl in true femininity because I'm really feminine at my core. And I was like, Oh no, the woman and the little girl, they met that day when I was walking and my heart went, boom, incredible.
It opened so wide. I was like, Oh, that's the little girl that was pulled towards her. That lady had to walk through the area in New York for me to see her. To recognize that I was in wounded masculine energy. I was trying to be so hard and inside I'm super soft, super feminine, super central, all the supers.
It's like, Oh, Eva, you have to allow it to emerge again. And the reason that this is a big, bold moment for me, or was, is because she wasn't afraid to be feminine. Her power was so magnificent, it just totally hugged me. It was so powerful, and I was like, oh! I a powerhouse before because I could do so many things.
That's that masculine structure side. And then that feminine side just came up and it came up with fire and passion. And I was like, boom, the power, and the juiciness, my friend when you put those two together and you get out of that wounded masculine energy and you show up in all of your deliciousness as a woman part for me, I'm coming through
Courtney Turich: Amazing. So, Eva, you are that light now walking through envisioning yourself in New York City. You are Eva Simone Powerhouse. Yes. Okay. So I do need to ask because right, it took time to get where you are today. When you started to realize that revelation about masculine energy and this feminine energy, how did you bring those two together?
How did you bring that back out in yourself? In the beginning,
The Dark Night of the Soul and Reclaiming Feminine Energy
Eva Simone: I was scared again because I was like, it's not safe to be feminine in the world. It's not safe. And that's so far from the truth. I do shift my consciousness. Shift how I saw life in this new energy and tell my ego, it's okay, you're not six years old, you're not seven years old, you're not eight years old, you're a grown woman.
And grown women, when they really embody something totally different. You get something totally different. So I had to really reprogram myself for what it is that I want. And I had many moments of something that I call the dark night of the soul, when the soul is like, yes. With the ego saying, hell no, hell no, you know what it was like, you know how it used to be, you know that you're afraid, you know, you know, you know, and I had to tell the ego, little Eva, we're fine.
Fear does not belong at this table anymore. We're moving through life. We're going to lift other women up. We're going to bring them in this juicy energy. And when they step into my container. They're going to be like boom!
Courtney Turich: So, wow, when you say dark night of the soul, like, it really got to me. It was like, it felt very dark when you said that.
Eva Simone: Yes, yes, because when you've been programmed a certain way for so long, and you're in the energy of survival instead of in the energy of thriving, the two different places that show up in the brain and the survival is our natural mechanism. The brain is still trying to evolve. We're still trying to evolve this old brain.
And when we're in survival, it's fight, flight, or freeze. And that leads the way. And you're afraid of showing up in a thriving energy. So I had to, Courtney, it was war with my ego. War, like face on the ground, crying, pounding, like, Ooh, gotta get past this. You gotta break through. It's like breaking through like
This is a veneer that is so thick and coming out on the other side and not giving a damn about the unknown just showing up walking In the moment by moment feeling happy feeling alive feeling juicy feeling powerful and moving forward through life like that And let me tell you when you do that,
Courtney Turich: it's like, you know, Eva when we first met and we spoke about this, for everyone out there, I am someone who has carried a lot of masculine energy and come from a very male-dominated industry.
And the reality is a lot of women, the higher you move up in corporate, the more or the easier it is to bring out that masculine energy. But Eva, when I listen to you and talk about merging that and really pushing that masculine energy aside and bringing in the feminine energy, it excites me because I really know I have so much more to offer.
And if I can show that side of me, there's more empathy, there's more love, there's more honesty, there's more trust. So when I mention this and I get excited thinking about it, how do you help women get started in this journey? Like what does that look like? Because right now I'm in the dark soul of despair right now thinking about how I'm going to get there.
Recognizing and Reclaiming Your Juicy Energy
Eva Simone: Oh, this is so good. Because. I understand. I am you. I understand. When the beginning, when I first started to think about it, I would have never worn a little top with flowers on it. And all of those little sweet things that, I desired. But I was like, no, but it was deeper than that for me.
When I first started to work with clients and women, when I would tell them my story, I would start off with something like this. Do you know what it's like to be in a relationship with a masculine person, and you're masculine also? And they kind of, you can tell that they're holding their breath. I said it's like, and this is what it looks like.
You're competing with each other. You are trying to figure out who's the one that's going to lead the show. Who's stronger than the other and somebody on the sideline and saying, or are in the mix of saying, I'm tired. Just lead the way a little bit for me. And when I started to recognize that, and I started to share it with women, women were like raising their hands.
That's me. That's me. That's me. So the first thing that I tell them is to recognize when you're tired, what's making you so tired that you lose all of that juicy energy that's pulsating through all of us. What's making you tired? And a lot of times they're saying, I'm tired from work. When I get home, I have nothing to give.
I don't feel alive. I feel actually exhausted. I don't feel like a woman. I don't know how to rest. I don't know how to turn it off. I don't know how to be in my personal relationships. I don't feel on fire. Actually, I feel like I'm dying. And to me, I'm stepping in. I'm stepping in because women, what I hear from women is as we get older, we don't have the spark anymore.
We lose it. We become like, we die on the vine and we look at our younger people and say, Oh, that's how it used to be. Hell no. That's how it's going to be. We're going to pick up our energy. We're going to move forward and we're going to juice ourselves up. If I have any
Courtney Turich: Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm sitting here listening to you, Eva, and you talk about your red, fabulous top, and I'm talking about the dark, deep soul of despair, and I've got all my black on. I think that's a sign. Maybe,
Eva Simone: maybe not. Black is also powerful. but if it's taking from that juicy, delicious side of you, put on yellow, put on whatever pink, whatever, just recognize in all of the beauty of a woman, everything that it is you want, you pick and choose. Life becomes so amazing when you're starting to pick and choose when you're not saying that everybody is wearing black or everybody's wearing white. I'm going to wear pa eriwinkle.
Courtney Turich: So, okay, Eva, you ask women what is making them so tired, right? That's one. What are two other things that you provide guidance and direction on or start to pique their interest with questions to reflect on themselves?
Eva Simone: Yes. I ask them to drop down in their body. When we're powerful, we're up here.
We're up here, my friend. We are ruling the roost with our brains. Spot on. We gotta add hair. We gotta add our room space. We gotta shimmy a little bit if we need to. We gotta wake all of the body up and so that we can come back home to the body so we can feel again. When we're up here, we're just thinking.
We're not feeling. We don't. We're actually numb, numb. I don't speak from what I think. I speak from what I know how numb I used to be and trying to pretend like I'm not numb. And I was, let me tell you, friend, I am not numb
Courtney Turich: now. Well, and I just, I feel you're not numb and I feel that you're bringing in life and yours again, I can so resonate.
It's so easy to put. The blinders on and just drive with your mind. Yes. Not your heart, your body, your soul, your womb. Yes. And while I've had a lot of masculine energy in my life, Eva, I also, I believe shared that I'm starting to come into it more as I get older, because I'm being more confident in who I am and trying to get in touch with who that is in my heart and soul.
So I just resonate with everything you're doing and what you're providing to so many women who need it.
Eva Simone: Yes. And listen, as I get older, I'm 52 years old now. And as I get older, I'm to fall off a cliff. No, no. We still have a lot of life to live. long as my eyes awake when I wake up in the morning, I'm like, I'm in, I'm here, I'm here for it.
So, and that's what I want for other women to not fall off the cliff. society makes us think that as we get older, we're no longer alive. I'm like, boom, get So I want women to recognize, like, I'll give you a quick story. There was a client one time, a lot older, and
Courtney Turich: how are we doing with our time, by the way?
we're doing good. I definitely want to hear your story. So you keep going, then I'll bring us back in. Okay, I'll do this quick.
Eva Simone: So I had a beautiful jean skirt that was really interesting, and this client had on the same jean skirt. She years old. And I was like, well, excuse me.
So I said to her, I said, you have on the same skirt as was like, I certainly do. And I said to her, can I see your lingerie, your strap? She said, you sure can. It was purple and beautiful. And I said, that's it, that's it. If she is that 90 years old, I have no excuse. So I bring it to women every chance I get, I'll give it back to you.
Courtney Turich: Incredible story, thank you for sharing that, Eva. And that's a reminder to all of us. It doesn't matter what age we are. No, no. So, you know, reflecting on everything you have just shared with us, there is so much.feel like we could still continue to go deeper and deeper. You shared that bold move in New York City.
And it sounds like that's pretty pivotal. Yes.
Eva Simone: And I don't know, maybe it wasn't ready before. Maybe women all around me were showing me who to be from my soul, but I didn't see it. I couldn't see it because I was over there and la la land.
Courtney Turich: Right. And I ask everybody, what was that big bold moment that takes you to the next level of life professionally and personally?
Did you already share that with us? Or is there something else?
Aligning with Your Soul’s Blueprint
Eva Simone: Well, whenever I started to really Get into my coaching, practice and help women. I was no longer afraid to just, in the middle of the conversation, speak from my soul, from this new place. Before I had a checklist of, okay, did I do that?
Did I do that? Did I do that? Now I'm present. I'm present. All of myself, my energy, my actions, my being. And that being is bold. It's bold in my personal life. It's bold in my professional life. And because I'm in totally because if you can't be embodied in something, then you're kind of like in and out, in and out, in and out.
I am totally aligned. There is nothing but the truth now. And that truth is how I'm meant to be at a soul level, my soul's blueprint. And that's the big bold movement. It's just. Helping women really align to their soul's blueprint and letting them walk forward while they're swaying their hips.
They're tucking their hair. They're doing all the things in
Courtney Turich: the world. You're making me feel it Eva. I'm gonna sway side to side, flip my hair and what I'm really taking away Eva is just we gotta learn to be. Be us. Yes. Be bold. Like I love to say, be bold, be confident, be you. And so much of what you do is really helping women to accomplish that.
Yes. Yes. Yes. so incredible. So, Eva, I can't believe we're starting to come to the end here and there's a question. I can't wait to hear what your answer is. Okay. And that is what would you tell your 18-year-old self today?
The Power of Saying Yes to Yourself
Eva Simone: I would tell her good job for getting to 52. Good job. Good job for navigating as best as you could.
Life, the ups and the downs. Good job. And I would go even further and say, good job to the six-year-old that even when times were hard, you still step back out there and try it again. Sometimes when we get stuck, we don't step back out there. We're just in the loop and I'm able to get out of the loop and move forward.
So that's what I would tell her. Good job.
Courtney Turich: So Eva, thank you so much for sharing all of this. Now as we get ready to walk away from today, you shared some insights and helpful tips to help women start to uncover this process for them. If you could tell them again, three things to work on they come find you ideally, right?
what are three things they can start doing right now for themselves to embrace that feminine side of their life? Yes.
Eva Simone: The first thing I would say, is give themselves five minutes a day. Just. Thinking and focusing on what that feminine side could feel like. What does it feel like in their body when they take a shower?
How are they connecting to the water, to the smell of their lotions and all of their potions? That's one thing. Number two is slow down. You're tired. Allow it. Allow yourself to rest. Number three, dance.
Courtney Turich: I'm all about that girl. We need our groove
Eva Simone: on. Yes. Dance, but not just dancing. Like you're shy. Really dance like it's nobody's business.
Because it isn't when I'm dancing girl, I think people are like, Oh Lord. I'm like,
Courtney Turich: they're like, watch out. She's coming through. This is where you start to, it's that woman in New York City. Who's walking light is surrounding her vibrant. That is you, Eva. I feel it. And what that does is
Eva Simone: that gives other women permission. I want women to say yes to themselves, I want women to say yes to themselves, to upscale themselves and give themselves and their lives the life that it deserves. And the sooner you can do that, the better!
Courtney Turich: Oh my goodness. Eva, you are just So amazing. I love your fun side and your passion. As I mentioned, I can see your light.
So if anybody wants to find you, reach out to you, connect, and learn how to find this within themselves. Yes. Where do they go? Where do they look?
Eva Simone: Well, I'm going to say quickly, thank you so much for having me on. Thank you for recognizing in me what you have in you. for all of those things. We just
I'm gonna bring it up, my friend.
Courtney Turich: Thank you, Eva. And everybody, Eva and I just met and this great community we're part of called the Outlier Project. And it's a community where we want to be Extraordinary. Where we help to lift each other up and take action. So Eva, I'm just honored to have met you there and to also have you share your voice here with us today.
But yes, please share. Where do we find you?
Eva Simone: You can go over to www. embodimentiseverything. com because it is, and if you want to send me an email, it's love at embodimentiseverything. com.
Courtney Turich: Fantastic. Eva, again, thank you so much for being here today. Everyone, we will have her contact information in the show notes, but until next time, be bold, be confident, and be you. Woo!
